1950s vintage bustier basque sewing pattern

This vintage sewing  pattern is  suppliment from the fashion magazine Femmes D’aujourd’hui pub in 1955-and you can download it now from the FOR SALE section on this website

The size is …..under bust-74cm-29inches, actual bust -95cm-37.5inches-the pattern states it can be adjusted for actual busts 34ins-39ins

The patterns are for a stunning bustier/basque top which can also be adjusted to use as a bra. It uses “Baleines” or boning to give structure and shape and elasticated criss cross strapping at the back….Alternatively, eyelets and drawstring cords could be susbstituted I think for a nicer look.

The pattern is uncut -Its in the form of printed lines on an A3 sheet which would usually be used as a template for copying onto dress making tissue..Instructions and lay outs are printed in French on the sheet. Seams and hem allowances are not given. The pattern instructions are in French.

Please check my guide which you will find on this website to help you use this pattern.
