Mode Pratique magazine was published in Paris France from Victorian times through to the 1950s. During the Edwardian era, the magazines were often accompanied by sewing patterns-some in pre-cut form as sold today(but without any writing on the pieces!) and some on large sheets which need to be traced out. The Bra shown on the right is the earliest bra pattern I have found-anyone know of an earlier one?-and was recomended for those of a full bust to be worn under transparent blouses!
