La Mode et la Maison (Fashion and Home) was published during the 1930s in Paris France and contained mini sewing patterns for enlargement by home couturiers as well as embroidery patterns and illustrations of the latest french fashions.
Mode Illustree continued to be published through the 1930s in Paris. The magazine reduced in size and content; however reduced patterns with dimensions were often given for home sewing, together with illustrations of the latest couture gowns and outfits.
